Das Neumann Haus was built by German immigrant Hermann Neumann in 1893. The house has been restored to its former condition, refurnished in the style of the 1930's and open to the public as a house museum.

Annie's Place Coffee Shoppe, which operates within the building, offers patrons light lunches, cakes & slices, Devonshire teas and real coffee. Das Neumann Haus also has a range of locally hand knitted baby clothes and boutique gifts.

Relax on the alfresco deck or under the shade of the 100 year old Jacaranda tree in the park.

Groups welcome. Disabled access. FREE entry.

Directions

Coming along the Warrego Highway (A2) from Brisbane take the Laidley Exit onto Laidley Plainland Road. Go through the roundabout and follow the road into the township of Laidley. Go over the railway line at Patrick Street follow this and on your next left you will find us.
