The Lockyer Valley Cultural Centre has a fully accredited Visitor Information Centre with an abundance of information about the Lockyer Valley and the great South East. Come in and chat with one of our friendly team members about what there is to see and do in the region.

Whether you are seeking attractions, accommodation, bushwalking tracks, dining options or local events, we can assist you. Our Visitor Information Centre can even book your accommodation in the Lockyer Valley Region directly.

The Visitor Information Centre stocks a wide array of delicious food products. All food products sold at the Information Centre are produced here locally in the Lockyer Valley. All at an affordable price they make great gifts and are perfect for those long picnic lunches. See the full list of producers and their delicious products listed below.

Anuhas Kitchen Kreations
Kitchen Kreations make exceptional Jam’s, Relishes and Chutney’s. Their range includes sweet jams like rosella, fig and mango as well as savoury jars of mustard Pickles, beetroot relish and tomato chutney. Come in to the Lake Apex VIC to view the full range today. 

Awassi Queensland 
Awassi Queensland have a fabulous range of sheep milk cosmetics. To compliment the amazing properties of the sheep milk, only 100% natural oils are used in the production of all products. 
The lotions are suitable for all skin types and conditions. The Awassi Balm is a beautiful product that is chemical free suitable for everyday use on the lips, dry cracked skin. Something suitable for everyone.

Dunlop Apiaries Delicious Honey
Dunlop Apiaries produce delicious honey. Most common flavours include tea tree, mixed blossom and yellow box. Buy the honey in a small 250g jar for a sweet taste tester or buy the 1kg jar for the family. We also sell creamed honey that comes in three yummy flavours.

Gecko Grove Fine Foods
Gecko Grove creates scrumptious preserves with a gourmet twist. Popular products sold include various marmalades, jams, chutneys and conserves. Any Gecko Grove product is sure to make that cheese and meat platter even better. Gecko Grove also does jam sessions where you can learn to make your own bottle of jam, chutney or preserve. Holmwood Lavender
Holmwood Lavender produces various Lavender scented products that smell heavenly. Lavender scented products stocked at the Information Centre include; eye pillows, shoe inserts, body wash, hand wash, hand lotion, lavender water and lavender scented massage oil. We also sell Holmwood’s Lemon Myrtle Powder which can be used to make a delicious Lemon Myrtle Cheesecake if desired.

Just Geraniums
Just Geraniums create a unique product named Rose Geranium Jelly. New to our shelves the Rose Geranium Jelly has been very popular. With a sweet taste similar to Turkish Delight, Rose Geranium Jelly would go perfectly with your afternoon tea or scones or can act as a yummy filling for your sponge cake. It is even tasty with turkey or seafood! 

Meekz Contemporary Jewellery
Meekz Contemporary Jewellery is our newest product here at the Information Centre. Each piece of Meekz Jewellery is individually hand crafted and all products are made using recycled, found and repurposed materials. Keeping true to the Lockyer Valley locality Meekz has a product line created from old Lockyer Valley road signs. Come into the Information Centre today to view the gorgeous and unique range of earrings and necklaces, a perfect gift for that special someone.

Mor Mor’s Premium Vaxtkraft
Mor Mor creates the most amazing Vegetable Stock Concentrate and Australian Roasted Seeds. The stock concentrate comes in two flavours; parsley or coriander and is one of the most incredible additions to your family kitchen. The stock concentrate can be used in the traditional way with water or just add a spoonful to any dish to intensify your meal. It even makes a fantastic marinate for meat or vegetables. The roasted seeds using the stock concentrate contain a mix of sunflower and pumpkin seeds that are ideal sprinkled on yoghurt, salads and soup or enjoy them on their own as a nourishing and delicious snack.

Schulte’s Meat Tavern
The Lake Apex Visitor Information Centre now stocks products from the award winning Schulte’s Meat Tavern. We sell various flavours of their famous mettwurst, beer sticks and jerky. These products are a must have addition to your wine and cheese night or that picnic in the park. 

Seatonfire Chilli Chocolate
Do you like a bit of spice with your sweet? If so then Seatonfire’s chilli chocolate is just for you. Seatonfire create gourmet flavoured chocolates with a hint of chilli. Chilli Chocolate flavours include; original, salted caramel, wild orange and much more. We also sell Seatonfire’s smoked chilli sea salt and their drinking chocolate. Seatonfire also create a crunchy coconut picnic pack that makes for a perfect dessert. You also need to give their lip plumping balm a try.


We have a variety of souvenirs and mementos for a memorable experience of your time in the Lockyer Valley. Our souvenir range covers Lockyer Valley - ‘LuvYa Lockyer’ and Queensland Transport Museum - ‘QTM’ branded items including t-shirts, hats, keyrings, cooler bags and magnets. Our postcard range includes beautiful image cardstock from Friends of Lake Apex 'FOLA' - they are a not for profit, volunteer group that is committed to preserving the environment of Lake Apex and Lake Freeman.  All proceeds from the sales of these postcards assists to maintain the fauna sanctuany that many travellers and locals enjoy on a daily basis. We stock a range of ‘Australiana’ themed souvenirs that include; hat pins, notebooks and 'Rusty Jobs' who create little Aussie sculptures made from sheet metal.

The Centre also boasts a Community Art and Craft Cabinet. You can purchase hand crafted items from for as little as $5.

All products in the cabinet have been made by local Lockyer Valley Artists or Community groups.

Items include tote bags, hand painted glassware, bookmarks, beautifully crafted woodworks and much more.
