Spring Bluff is a popular wedding, picnic and photographic location. Bring lunch and a thermos and relax in the public picnic areas or take advantage of the cafe's friendly hospitality Saturday and Sunday 9.30am-4.30pm. All other weekdays by appointment – Phone Robyn on 0437 636 969. The cafe is open public holidays except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day and open every day in September. Learn about the history of the area and view photographs of the destruction caused during 2011's flood event.Picnic Facilities include free electric BBQ's, tables and chairs, public toilets and a basketball ring for the kids. There is no charge to enter the grounds and car parking capacity allows for up to 50 vehicles at any one time. Wedding facilities include a gazebo and wedding arch located within a large flat grassed area. Smaller wedding locations are available in-front of the caretakers cottage and in-front of the Spring Bluff garden sign. The caretakers cottage location features dramatic trees and views of the railway. The grassed area adjacent the Spring Bluff garden sign is intimate and enclosed but still features views of the railway tracks. Please note that due to the historic and undulating nature of the site it is not wheelchair accessible. A disabled toilet is located on the Station Platform. Elderly visitors may find the steep steps and pathways to the cafe and higher picnic areas inaccessible. McCormack Drive is the only access road to Spring Bluff and is extremely steep. Caravans are not recommended.

Hours: daily (grounds open during daylight hours only). The Cafe is open Thursday to Sunday, 9.30am-4.30pm. Please note that in quiet periods, cafe may close early. The cafe is open every day in September for Toowoomba's annual Carnival of Flowers.

Follow the Cobb & Co Tourist Drive west from Helidon or east from Toowoomba. Spring Bluff Railway Station is signposted off Murphys Creek Road, Murphys Creek.
