Plus, with the chance to hear Lockyer Valley’s Australia Day Ambassador, Alyce Stephenson speak, participation is a must! By day Alyce is a surgical nurse at the Ipswich Hospital and has worked there for nearly eight years. By night she is a competitive Olympic weightlifter, and recently competed at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in the 48kg division, where she lifted a personal best and placed seventh. Alyce has a passion for sport and all things fitness related. She has also performed locally and internationally in aerial silks and duo lyra with her twin sister as part of a circus production. She loves a challenge, whether it is mental or physical, and loves helping others get out of their comfort zone.

Come celebrate with this year’s award winners at the Gatton Shire Hall before heading out to one of the many events planned in the region. To assist with catering at the Awards Ceremony, please RSVP to or phone 5462 0369.
