Stay after the Laidley Spring Festival and join us Sunday morning for Bee Happy Day - a celebration of Spring, flowers, bees, and family fun!
 
Delighting children of all ages, BEE swept away by the performers, craft stations, artisan markets, expert beekeepers, face painters and balloon artists!
 
Cluster Arts are bringing their renowned uniquely physical theatre show ‘A Bee Story’ for children and families to enjoy. Follow the story of Queen Bee and Worker Bee who must work together to rebuild their hive after being destroyed by a bushfire. But things never quite go to plan…
 
Join the bees on their buzzy adventures and be enchanted by their pollen-collecting skills, honey-making abilities, and super-bee strength. A Bee Story has themes of environmentalism, sustainability, and community spirit, and was directed by performer Robbie Curtis (Circa, Cirque du Soleil, Circus Oz, Australian Ballet), and co-created with musician and performer Lizzie McRae. Watch the trailer here 
 
This family fun morning will enchant children of all ages as they join the performers on their buzzy adventure. Children are encouraged to explore the craft stations where they can paint their own flowerpot or create a bee-inspired headband, browse the artisan handmade markets, talk to expert beekeepers, BEE transformed with our talented face painter and take home balloo
