Join us for the 2018 International Women's Day Breakfast and celebrate our amazing women. Enjoy a light buffet breakfast, raffles and guest speaker, Queensland Fire and Emergency Director of Regional Operations for QFES South Western Region, Acting Chief Superintendent, Megan Stiffler. 

Megan was the first QFES female on an international deployment as part of an Urban Search and Rescue Team flown into Christchurch after their devastating earthquake in 2011. Megan has strong operational leadership abilities demonstrated at the frontline, through her years as a Station Officer, Area Commander and Deputy Operations Commander of the State Disaster Coordination Centre at Kedron.

Tickets can be purchased at the following locations until 6 March - cash payments only please:

- Council Customer Service Centres in Laidley and Gatton

- the Lake Apex Visitor Information Centre, Gatton

Proceeds from the morning will go to the Bella Program run in schools in the Lockyer Valley. Proudly supported by Laidley Women's Group and Lockyer Valley Regional Council
