On the long Weekend in May, the Lockyer Valley Heritage Festival takes over the Valley! It's a great weekend to head just one hour west of Brisbane and 'get your country on'! There's three days of country experiences with something for everyone.

Laidley Heritage Weekend
On Saturday, Das Neumann Haus offers music by John and Carlyn, markets galore and Annie's Shoppe Cafe offering their speciality pancake menu. The horse drawn carriage rides through Laidley CBD are back on Saturday too. 

On Sunday, bring the kids down for a day of activities, face painting, pony rides, jumping castle and more. Don't miss the Larrikin Puppet show at 10am and 12pm.

Plus more markets for the adults, music by John and Carlyn and great food from the cafe. 

Do a tour of the house museum and learn all about life in Laidley in the late 1800's as you listen to the audio history in the rooms.
