Description

The Lockyer Valley Art Gallery is located in Gatton and is part of the Lockyer Valley Cultural Centre.

The Gallery presents an exciting program of changing exhibitions featuring local and visiting artists, providing audiences with an opportunity to explore and absorb artwork in a relaxing and peaceful environment.

Purpose-built in 2009, the flexible gallery space is ideal for group and solo exhibitions. Regional highlights of the calendar include the annual high school exhibition supporting younger artists in the community, a local artist showcase as well as travelling exhibitions.

The Davson Gallery is located behind the Lockyer Valley Art Gallery. It is accessible through the Gallery.

Opending its doors in 2017, the Davson Gallery is an exhibition of artwork by members of the Davson Family.

The Davson Gallery changes exhibits regularly.

Directions

Travelling West along the Warrego Hwy, take the Gatton exit onto Eastern Drive. Follow Eastern Drive into town, turning left at Railway Street (second set of traffic lights). Travel approximately 1 km, turning left into Lake Apex Drive and right into the Cultural Centre carpark.

Travelling East along the Warrego Hwy, follow the Cobb & Co Trail. This will exit the Warrego Hwy at Helidon and direct you through Grantham. When entering Gatton, the Cultural Centre will be on your right hand side. Turn right onto Lake Apex Drive and right again into the carpark.
