An initiative of the Lockyer Creative Collective, the Festival will kick off with an extraordinary dining experience on Friday evening, the 21st of May, at a hidden Valley location.

The Valley Vibe Festival, Saturday 22nd May, will showcase the wonderful opportunities to be involved in the Arts in the local community. It will bring to one location so many ways to experience the joy of the Arts, at a time when, let's face it, we could use it!

The Queensland Poetry Festival will run a performance competition as part of the Festival's Poets' Breakfast on Festival Day. There will be a Photography Competition, the Collective will run a visual arts competition, and USQ is running a short film festival/competition in the evening, to be shown outdoors.

Stall holders with quality locally made items will be present, along with community groups, and artist run workshops. There will be a stage area for interactive dance and choralling. Groups like Tai Chi, NIA, and line dancing will invite you to participate, and local choirs will be encouraged to hold 'pub choir'-like sessions. Buskers will be welcomed, and a music stage will be available for scheduled acts.

Local food stall holders and community groups will bring a range of delicious offerings for attendees. Workshops will be run out of the Village Arts Space. The Village blacksmith's forge will be operating, and  will run workshops on the day.
