Laidley Spring Festival
returns in Laidley 11-12 September, with Bee Happy Day in Forest Hill on 13 September
Only an hour west of Brisbane, this much-loved event is a highlight on Queensland's social calendar.

3 Days of Festival Fun
The Producer's Patch
After a standout debut in 2025, this vibrant space is back and better than ever, shining a spotlight on the incredible growers and producers who make the Lockyer Valley the salad bowl it is. These are the real stars behind our region’s fresh, flavour-packed produce, and this is your chance to meet them, hear their stories and shop their products straight from the source.
FRIDAY’S TWILIGHT FEAST AND FEST
Laidley Rec Reserve springs to life with twinkling lights, epic food trucks and a boutique “makers and creators” market, along with SEQ musos bringing the tunes. Grab a picnic blanket and enjoy an evening of food, music, and great company from 5pm-9pm!
SATURDAY AT THE FESTIVAL PRECINCT
Rise and shine folks and make your way to Lockyer Valley’s largest annual country market! Starting at 8am, wander through the food trucks with a coffee, and peruse stalls offering handmade products from right here in Queensland. Stay for the stage program (from 11am)
FEATURED EXHIBITIONS
There’s something for everyone as our community groups create unique, Spring-inspired expos for your enjoyment. Park your car and wander between locations dotted around Laidley or jump on our shuttle buses that loop the town, stopping at festival locations.
GARDEN PRECINCT
Thousands peruse the Garden Precinct each year, on the hunt for potted colour and the perfect ornaments to adorn their yards. Stay for the guest speakers and demonstrations and check out the Gem Show whilst you’re there!
ANNUAL GRAND STREET PARADE
Saturday 12 September at 10am sees the Laidley CBD get hectic with thousands of festival goers watching the Street Parade. Decorative floats, heritage trucks, vintage vehicles, dressed up community groups and marching bands will wander down the main street.
SUNDAY IS BEE HAPPY DAY!
Festival Sunday is for the kids! Bring the family for a program filled with arts and craft workshops, face painting, dancing, scrumptious food, and a local artisan market. Located at the Forest Hill School of Arts Hall from 9am-1pm, there will be things to do for all kids 6-months and up!
