  • 1941 GMC 6x6 Prime Mover – Often called “the truck that won the war”, with over 580,000 built
  • 1942 Australian Dingo Scout Car – A rare and iconic piece of Australian military history
  • 1956 Saracen Armoured Personnel Carrier – A six-wheeled vehicle built for battlefield endurance
  • 1969 Diamond Rio Prime Mover – The first of its kind brought to Australia and the only manual version
  • 1942 Desert Raider – Designed for the British Army’s toughest desert operations
 
Meet the Artist - Lockyer Valley Art Gallery

While you’re here, take the opportunity to also visit the Lockyer Valley Art Gallery, located within the Cultural Centre, and meet artist Jennifer Mashell. Browse the Light Horse artworks and learn more about the true stories that inspired them. Although set in wartime, these paintings focus on relationships, particularly the powerful bond between man and horse, revealing moments of beauty and connection even in difficult times.
