There will be plenty of thrills when the fifth annual Lockyer Valley Billy Cart Championship returns to Lake Apex on June 7.

Registrations are now open for people wanting to take part in this thrilling sport – you can either make your own billy cart or you can test your skill and agility in one of the 30 billy carts that will be available on the day from the Lockyer Valley Billycart Association Inc.

The entry fee is $15 per driver, but its free to head along and watch all the action,

Registration opens at 8am, with the chequered flag set to wave for the first race at 10am.

The day will also feature a variety of craft stalls and food vendors.
