After taking over as Chief Winemaker, Chester Osborn set about focusing his efforts on producing high quality and distinctive wines. Chester reduced yields in the vineyards by eliminating fertilization and minimizing irrigation, reinstating the traditional winemaking methods of foot treading and basket pressing.
