The Queensland Transport Museum will open its doors from 12pm to 4pm this ANZAC Day.

After the morning’s commemorations, we welcome you to spend a relaxed afternoon exploring our collection of vehicles and stories of military transport history, a quiet nod to the role of innovation, movement and machinery in shaping our past.

Whether you're a local or visiting the Lockyer Valley, this is a meaningful way to connect with history and honour the spirit of the ANZACs.

While you're there, pop into the Lockyer Valley Art Gallery inside the Cultural Centre and check out the current exhibition by artists Ron and Jennifer Marshall, whose Light Horse artworks beautifully capture the powerful bond between soldier and horse during wartime
