Lockyer Valley's Heritage Festival is spread in Laidley and Gatton across the whole weekend! Come along and celebrate the rich history of the Lockyer Valley!
Saturday in Laidley:
Das Neumann Haus - Cnr Patrick Street and William Street, Laidley: 8am-2pm - Free Entry
Visit the Das Neumann Haus museum and hear the stories of the Neumann family. enjoy some Billy tea and damper while wandering around the local markets.
View the Laidley CBD in a Horse Drawn Carriage ride - $10 per person, kids under 12 $5.
Laidley Pioneer Village - Cnr Drayton and Pioneer Street, Laidley: 7.45am-2pm - Entry by donation
Immerse yourself in the first historical village of it's type in Queensland, established in 1972. Don't miss the vintage cars and farm machinery, small engine display, working blacksmith and wood working display, freshly cooked damper, sheep shearing and so much more. Food and drink will be available to purchase.
Sunday in Gatton:
Gatton and District Historical Society - Freemans Road, Gatton: 9am-2pm - Entry by donation
