Flora 4 Fauna Australia invites you to a FREE guided Walk & Talk through the beautiful Dray Rainforest Arboretum at Lake Apex.
This relaxed and informative morning is perfect for nature lovers, gardeners, educators, and anyone curious about the incredible bushfoods and biodiversity of Southeast Queensland.
What you’ll discover:
Native Dry Rainforest Plants - Learn about the diverse species growing in the arboretum and those once common throughout the greater Lockyer Valley and SEQ.
Bushfoods & Medicinal Plants - Explore traditional and contemporary uses of native Australian plants and how they support people, wildlife, and healthy ecosystems.
Biodiversity in Your Backyard - Get practical tips for creating your own biodiverse Dry Rainforest garden at home, in community spaces, or school grounds.

Sunhat, sunglasses & sunscreen.
Insect repellent.
Water bottle.
Umbrella or raincoat (just in case).
Cash for plants.
