Kids Day Out – Queensland Child Protection Week 2026 

Join the Withcott & District Progress Association Inc. and the Withcott Scout Group for a fun-filled afternoon and evening celebrating Queensland Child Protection Week.

Held under this year's message, "Protecting Children is Everybody's Business," Kids Day Out is designed to bring families, neighbours, community organisations, and local businesses together to celebrate the importance of creating safe, supportive, and connected communities for children.

Enjoy an afternoon of low-cost fair-style activities from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, including family entertainment, children's activities, community displays, market stalls, food vendors, and much more. As the sun sets, grab your blankets and pillows (no chairs) and settle in for a FREE indoor movie screening of Ron's Gone Wrong (PG) from 6:30 pm.
